Child protection policy, discussed; rights of students, emphasized
RIGHTS OF CHILDREN Some of the Grade 8 students read the discussion on Child Law DepEd Protection Policy.
Teachers explained and emphasized the principles outlined in the Child Protection Policy Service Training held at the National High School in Quezon (QNHS).
The discussion was conducted as part of the In-Service Training of teachers from 21st to 24th of October 2017 in different places within the school.
Kailangan nating piliin ang mga salitang bibitawan natin dahil maaari itong makasakit ng damdamin at maaari tayong managot”, said Mrs. Cynthia Tadong, one of the interviewees.
There has been a thorough discussion of the subject in which it appears that certain provisions in the law exclude some teachers such as classroom assignments to school-age children, mandates to clean up late-grade children, and other minor offensives.
